Mary Jo grew up in Newport and graduated from Newport High School in 1980. Upon graduating, she immediately entered the workforce. Her experience in the private business sector has spanned both the domestic and international areas of employee payroll administration, tax compliance, human resource management, and benefits administration.  As a managing partner in her own business along with decades of experience in others, she understands the importance of fiscal responsibility, sound economic business investments and building an efficient workforce environment that is conducive and inclusive to growth and opportunities for all.

As a conservative, Mary Jo is a fierce advocate of individual liberties, limited government, political transparency and policies that empower citizens to self-governance.  Mary Jo prides herself on her ability to think outside the box, find solutions to difficult problems, and her willingness to work with others to get the job done.

Mary Jo was raised in Newport and is a current resident of Bellevue. She is a successful business owner whose company, located in Campbell County, has served the small business community throughout Northern Kentucky since 2002. Mary Jo enjoys spending time with her husband, Gary, of 18 years along with her daughters, grandchildren, and dogs. When she has free time, she often heads out to the family farm where she is able to spend time relaxing and taking care of her horses.
